Wow. I have been wanting to write a blog for months. Better late than never!
I was scared to write this. I did not know what to write. Where to start. I was afraid of rejection, embarrassment and judgement. I finally said screw it. So here I am 🙂
I started a weight loss journey over a year ago. I continued to let weight loss define me. I thought losing weight = happiness. Boy was I wrong. Way wrong. I focused on the wrong things. The scale, the amount of likes I got on a weight loss transformation picture, comparing myself to other woman on instagram, and looking skinny.
I finally had to take a step back and ask myself, “Why?”
I decided to focus on the bigger picture. Rather than just looking at weight loss I will now look at MY LIFE as a whole. What brings me happiness? What are the most meaningful activities, people, and hobbies in my life? How can I be more mindful in my day to day living.
My blog will be here to hopefully inspire, entertain, and most importantly create more happiness in this world. I plan on sharing fun, easy and inspiring content to make your life more simple and focus on what is truly important.
